Text-to-Speech Narration

Preview the video, then place the voice.

Narrator lets you place typed text narration on the timeline of one selected video. Adjust voice, speed, volume, and start time, then save a new copy while the original stays unchanged.

Relationship to Kyodo

Narrator is the related app for adding typed text narration to one video.

Kyodo currently covers joining, rough cutting, captions, bundled BGM, and saving. Narrator is not presented as a current Kyodo feature; it is the focused app for user-provided text narration with system voices.

What Narrator does.

It does not interpret the video or write a script automatically. It reads the words you enter with iOS system text-to-speech voices and lets you place that narration where it should begin.

1

Pick one video

Choose a video from Photos. Video is not sent to a developer server, and the original clip stays unchanged.

2

Place words on the timeline

Preview the video, add narration where it should start, and keep multiple narration segments ordered by time.

3

Balance and save

Adjust voice, speed, source volume, narration volume, and start time, then save a new narrated video to Photos.

Scope

Narrator is the focused app for text-to-speech narration.

It does not provide voice cloning, celebrity voices, automatic script generation, automatic narration from video contents, captions, BGM, video joining, automatic cutting, translation, dubbing, lip sync, direct social posting, or general video-clip timeline editing. Narration uses iOS system text-to-speech voices generated on device.
